Dante Pittman serves as the Policy Assistant for Hometown Strong’s Northcentral Prosperity Zone. In this role, Dante serves as an advocate for rural communities within this prosperity zone. As a native of Wilson, North Carolina, Dante was honored to have previously served as Assistant to the City Manager and Human Relations Director for the City of Wilson. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Dante also serves as an officer in the North Carolina Army National Guard.
In his spare time, Dante enjoys cheering on the Tar Heels at the Dean Dome and Kenan Stadium. He also enjoys spending time at the coast with his fiancé and their two dogs.
