Brittany Wilborn is the Policy Assistant at Hometown Strong through the UNC School of Government's Lead for North Carolina Fellowship. As an aspiring public servant, she actively engages in government efforts, gaining an understanding of how to serve the community effectively. Brittany has previously worked with nonprofits and volunteered with various organizations, and her passion for creating a positive impact through service led her to become an AmeriCorps member. In her current role, she plays a vital part in the organization's administrative tasks, research initiatives, and outreach efforts. Additionally, she works on external projects as part of her fellowship.
Brittany holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a Pre-Law concentration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Originally from Rural Hall, North Carolina, Brittany resides in Garner, North Carolina, another rural community, as she maintains a growing appreciation for rural environments. Beyond her professional commitments, Brittany enjoys leisure reading, exploring diverse cuisines, and traveling.
